Amy Bergman
Amy Bergman President

Amy Bergman is the President of Insight HRM, LLC.  She has an array of experience in Human Resource Consulting, Municipal Government, Non-Profit Organizations, Retail, Health and the Financial Services industries.  Amy’s role is providing strategic HR Solutions for a variety of financial institutions, nonprofits and small businesses.

She has a passion for the betterment of Michigan through the growth and longevity of local business.  She has strong relationships within the Michigan small business, non-profit and financial services industries and has been an active participant / leader in these civic, non-profit and professional organizations:  Tecumseh Rotary Club, Junior Achievement, Lenawee United Way, the Human Resource Association of Southeast Michigan, Society for Human Resource Management, Community Bankers of Michigan, Michigan Bankers Association, Hospice of Lenawee, God’s Bread Basket and the HOPE Community Center.

Amy DeBruyn
Amy DeBruyn HR Professional

Amy DeBruyn, SHRM-CP is an HR professional with a background in Healthcare, Non-Profits, Accounting and Payroll, Higher Education, and Manufacturing.

Amy previously served as HR Director for Hospice of Lenawee where she was responsible for leading all aspects of the organization’s HR functions, including strategic planning, recruiting and retention initiatives, organizational culture, performance management & coaching, employee relations & engagement, policy development & revision, and employment law compliance.  Prior to her work at Hospice of Lenawee, she worked in postsecondary education at her alma mater, Siena Heights University.

Karen M. Belair HR Professional

Karen M. Belair is an HR Professional, with experience in Human Resource Management (HRM), Education, Non-Profit Organizations, Retail, Healthcare and the Financial Services industries.  Karen’s passion is implementing her HR knowledge and experience to create a stronger, more efficient and healthier organization, based on HR planning, policy & procedure and HR best practices.

She has a passion for education as a life-long learner and has been an Adjunct Professor at Jackson College for nearly five years, teaching a variety of business classes, specializing in HRM. She has strong relationships within Jackson community after serving as Executive Director for Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity from 2001-2009 and as a Chaplain through Allegiance Health. Karen then pursued a career in healthcare as an HR Director.

Nikki Thonsen
Nikki Thomsen HR Professional

Nikki Thomsen is an HR Professional with a plethora of HR experience in industries such as Health Care, Non-Profits, Governmental Entities, Higher Education, and Manufacturing. Nikki enjoys sharing the knowledge and experiences she has gained over her 16+ years in HR trenches with others while at the same time learning from them. Nikki truly enjoys connecting with people and building a partnership that will lead towards building a stronger community of professionals.

Nikki has a passion for employee relations as she realizes that employees are the most precious asset within an organization.  She works tirelessly to ensure that all levels of employees, from the bottom of the org chart all the way to the top, feel valued, respected, and heard while helping to maintaining the company’s bottom line and meeting strategic objectives.

Jen Hosler
Jen Hosler Virtual Assistant

Jen Hosler is a Virtual Assistant with Insight HRM. She has a variety of experience from office and accounting management in the marine, trucking, banking, farming, manufacturing and other industries.

Her vast knowledge and experience in these different fields gives her an ability to see things in many ways. Her role at Insight HRM is to provide administrative assistance to organizations in many ways to alleviate the burden of various tasks that bog leaders down.

Marcia Mikuski
Marcia Mikuski Virtual Assistant

Marcia Mikuski is a Virtual Assistant with Insight HRM. She has a variety of experience in administrative roles, including manufacturing, higher education, banking, and non-profit organizations with customer service as her top priority.

Marcia’s well-rounded experience represents strong attention to detail, customer service, organization, calendar and email management, scheduling, and engaging phone support. Marcia brings a unique skill set, combining her dynamic organizational and administrative background with ongoing creativity.
