Amy Bergman, SHRM-SCP, SPHR
Amy Bergman, SHRM-SCP, SHPHR, is the President of Insight HRM, LLC. She has an array of experience in Human Resource Consulting, Municipal Government, Non-Profit Organizations, Retail, Health, and the Financial Services industries. Amy’s role is providing strategic HR Solutions for a variety of financial institutions, nonprofits, and small businesses.
She has a passion for the betterment of Michigan through the growth and longevity of local businesses. She has strong relationships within the Michigan small business, non-profit and financial services industries and has been an active participant/leader in these civic, non-profit and professional organizations: Tecumseh Rotary Club, Junior Achievement, Lenawee United Way, the Human Resource Association of Southeast Michigan, Society for Human Resource Management, Community Bankers of Michigan, Michigan Bankers Association, Hospice of Lenawee, God’s Bread Basket, and the HOPE Community Center.
Amy is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR & SHRM-SCP) as recognized by the Human Resource Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management-SHRM. She serves on the Board of Directors for the HR Association of Southeast Michigan and has been an instructor through Jackson College’s Corporate Continuing Education for the HR Certification Prep (PHR/SPHR) Course. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University in Human Resources.
Amy enjoys the challenges of business leadership, human resources, and management coaching; in addition, her passions are in community service, running, camping, gardening and getting creative in the kitchen.
Amy and her husband are both Spartans while their son is a student at the University of Michigan. They reside in Michigan with their 3 dogs.
